“Snow, the Dnieper ... there's no more beautiful city in the world than Kiev” Mikhail Bulgakov

It is very difficult for me to write something original about Kyiv, despite the desire for it and the emotions I feel. It's not my thing to write. In 2019, I led a small group to Kiev and Chernobyl. These photos are from that time. After the HBO series "Chernobyl" aired, my phone would not stop ringing about the Chernobyl trip I was organising at the time. For months no one was interested in the tour, and then suddenly people were lining up to see the ill-fated nuclear power plant and Ukraine with their own eyes. People wanted to see and feel the drama. Kyiv, however, captured my heart. The war will be over, people will begin to build new lives, and I hope we can return to this extraordinarily beautiful city.
