Hong Kong Skyline
I have visited Hong Kong twice. Each time I could not stop myself from spending every spare minute photographing the "most beautiful skyline in the world" from every possible angle. Hong Kong skyline with its skyscrapers standing close to each other leaves a lifelong impression at first sight. The city full of seduction, the romantic Victoria Harbour with its vibrant nightlife and the viaduct bridges winding into the deep urban jungle - the Hong Kong skyline is like a colourful painting unfolding here. The most notable building is the International Commerce Centre, the tallest building in Hong Kong and the ninth tallest building in the world at 484 metres.
Hong Kong has one of the highest numbers of skyscrapers in the world. Wherever you are, you just have to look around to enjoy the boundary between the sky and this vertical city that is truly massive, iconic, or just plain beautiful. Central Plaza, home to the world's tallest church, is the third tallest building in Hong Kong.
The most beautiful skyline in the world is the scene of a light show called Symphony of Lights. It is a free light and sound performance that shows the vitality and enthusiasm emanating from 44 skyscrapers and landmarks. The show takes place daily at 8 p.m., weather permitting, and lasts 14 minutes and 40 seconds. Thanks to the breakneck development of Hong Kong, the cityscape is changing more and more every day.
The best viewpoints to enjoy the magnificent Hong Kong skyline are Victoria Peak, Tsim Sha Tsui and the Star Ferry. The pictures in the gallery below were taken from these viewpoints.
