001 Porters of the River

At the edge of the river, work moves with a quiet rhythm. One by one, men cross a narrow bamboo walkway, balancing large woven baskets on their heads with remarkable strength and control. Their steps are steady, their bodies shaped by years of hard labor, their movement almost ceremonial against the wide sky and the waiting boats.
