I took this photo of Jameh Mosque of Isfahan while leading a small group of people on an incredible journey to Iran in May 2022. Located not far from the very central Naghsh-e Jahan Square, the majestic Jameh Mosque is one of the largest and most important monuments of Islamic architecture in Iran. This stunning edifice is also one of the oldest historical monuments in the city, and is believed to have been built in the early 8th century during the Seljuk Dynasty. The intricate stonework, soaring minarets, and exquisite tile-work of the mosque are truly remarkable and make it an architectural marvel. Exploring the mosque was a truly special moment for me and my group, and I'm so glad I was able to capture this incredible photo of such a remarkable monument.Black and white street photography.
