INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
Track record of increasing responsibility in analysis, development, monitoring/ evaluation and full life-cycle project management in the development sector – from consultancy and project management positions to Program Officer/Analyst position at the UNDP Bulgaria.
March 2006 – December 2009: Program Analyst at the UNDP Bulgaria
From March 2006 till June 2008 – responsible for the ICT for Development portfolio;
From June 2008 till December 2009 – additionally responsible for the Energy Efficiency/Environment portfolio.
Both portfolios include 9 projects, covering the following sub-areas:
ICT for Development: e-Governance and Access to information; Networking and networking applications; Infrastructure and connectivity.
Energy Efficiency/Environment: Building the local capacity for promoting energy efficiency measures; Biodiversity; The three Rio Conventions and their implementation into the regional planning processes.
January 2004 – March 2006: Project manager of the UNDP/GEF/ Ministry of Environment and Waters project entitled “Establishment of the Bulgarian Clearing House Mechanism”.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES/NEW MEDIA MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
10 years of experience in the ICT sector: 2.5 years as web/graphics designer, web usability/information architecture expert in the private sector (Semantec Bulgaria Ltd – German Software Company based in Sofia, Bulgaria) and 7.5 years in providing IT/web consultancy services for the development and the NGO sectors.

Beside the entrepreneurial and operational roles of managing the organization, I managed complete online projects and was hands-on with project tasks — client relationship management; strategy; scoping of project/business requirements; preparation of proposals, estimates and plans; development of functional specifications; web/graphics design, development and corporate identity, usability inspections using heuristic evaluations; web usability testing; information architecture and web based knowledge/content management systems; Internet marketing and commerce, including management and optimization of websites – Web 2.0; social media management.
Clients: UNDP, TIME Foundation, Bulgarian-Swiss Biodiversity Conservation Program, Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB), Clearing House Mechanism on Biodiversity; Ministry of Environment and Waters; Ministry of Agriculture; National Forestry Board; Sofia University; Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and other Governmental and Non-governmental institutions and organizations;

PHOTOGRAPHY
Advanced knowledge of film, digital and immersive photography, digital workflow and digital darkroom techniques; digital storytelling production from the raw source files (image, sounds, video) to the final web-based presentation. Specialized in social/NGO, travel and fine art photography.

My first solo exhibition (2005) was organized in Sofia. On 5 November 2009 it has been opened my second sole photography exhibition in Sofia, Bulgaria entitled:

Master degree in Medicine from the Medical University in Varna, Bulgaria; Internship at the University of Zurich, Switzerland; Various courses in Business Administration; PRINCE2 qualified.

Fluent in English, working knowledge of German and Russian.
